European Oak Flour

With a wide distribution, the European oak forests span from the Atlantic shore of Portugal to Iran. Their acorn was used historically as a coffee substitute or milled to produce flour. Its typical astringency is softened by our process, inspired in the traditional processing methods, resulting in a flour with a sui generis nutty and tannin aroma, versatile for anti-oxidant and gluten-free food diets.

Cork Oak Flour

Cork oak is Portugal’s national tree, where it forms breath-taking landscapes of “montado”. The higher tannins content than holm oak makes its acorns slightly more astringent. Landratech transforms these nutritious nuts into a sweet flour with a characteristic cocoa aroma. Can be used to produce multiple food products.
